Candle tarts
Melt 3 oz (90 grams)
of pink candle pieces in a double boiler over medium heat and add pink candle
dye as you stir (optional).
After the wax is evenly dyed, remove the mixture from the heat
source and let it cool.
Add 5 ml of lavender essential oil.
Pour the scented
candle mixture into soap molds or small tart pans and let it set.
Pop the molds in the freezer for 5 minutes to remove the candle tarts.
Display them in your living room.
Decorative Candles Holders
Using a glue gun, glue
a scented pink pillar candle to the bottom of a glass jar.
Mix pink bath salts
or with 1 teaspoon of glitter and pour them around the candle in the jar.
Potpourri
Mix 1/3 cup dried rose petals, 1/3 cup dried lavender flowers and 1/3 cup cinnamon sticks.
Add 50 drops of a floral essential oil (like rose essential oil, geranium essential oil, ylang ylang essential oil or lavender essential oil) and mix thoroughly.
Put the mixture in a lid with a tight
jar.
Let it stand for 1 week as you continue shaking the bottle without opening
it.
After a week, display the potpourri in a decorative bowl.
Lacy Luminaries
Glue pink lace
around a mason glass jar.
Insert a votive candle in the glass jar.
Light it to
create a lacy illumination.
Scented Salts
Mix 1 cup Epsom
salts with 1 cup sea salt
Add 50 drops of a floral essential oil (like
rose essential oil, geranium essential oil, ylang ylang essential oil or lavender essential oils)
Add a few drops of pink
food coloring
Pour the mixture in a glass jar without a lid
Hurricane Lanterns
Using a glue gun, glue a pink scented candle to the lid of a mason glass jar.
Invert the mason jar over the glued candle to make a hurricane lamp.
