How to Fight Impatience with Bible Verses

How to Fight Impatience with Bible Verses
Since impatience can cause you to lose irreplaceable assets and opportunities and create more problems in your life, you have to combine spiritual, mental and physical interventions to form your own holistic deliverance ministry and fight it so that you can wait on God’s timing patiently.

Learn from Esau who had everything going for him to receive a double share of inheritance since he was born first before his twin brother Jacob and also because he was his father’s favorite son. (Genesis 25:25-28)

However, because of impatience, Esau sold his birthright for a bowl of soup and lost something valuable that he could never regain. (Genesis 25:29-34)

Learn also from Sarah who became impatient after waiting for God to give her a child after she and her husband Abraham had lived in Canaan for 10 years. She then asked Abraham to sleep with her Egyptian servant Hagar so that they could get a child. (Genesis 16:1-3)

Ishmael’s conception caused conflicts in her home as Hagar became haughty and Sarah blamed Abraham for it. Therefore, fight impatience by praying and finding out what God wants you to do about the pressing situation.

As you pray, use Scriptures since the Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17) that God has given us to fight with. We will therefore call the Scriptures that we will use to SWORD WORDS.

SWORD WORDS that you can use as personal deliverance prayers to fight impatience include:
1. Father God, help me to wait for You because You are my Strength and my defense. (Adapted Psalm 59:9-10)

2. Father God, help me to wait for You and let no one who waits on You be ashamed. (Adapted Psalm 25:3)
Take the sword of the spirit which is the word of God. Ephesians 6:17

(Genesis 16:1-3) Ishmael’s conception caused conflicts in her home as Hagar became haughty and Sarah blamed Abraham for it.

Therefore, fight impatience by praying and finding out what God wants you to do about the pressing situation. As you pray, use Scriptures since Bible verses are the foundation of any deliverance ministry and Christian spiritual warfare because the Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit that God has given us to fight with. (Ephesians 6:17) Therefore, we will call the Scriptures that we will use to fight for your children SWORD WORDS.

In addition to praying for yourself, ask your Pastor to pray for you and attend Deliverance services so that you can learn different spiritual warfare prayers and receive deliverance from impatience.

After praying, put on the helmet of salvation since it is one of the weapons of our warfare being part of the armor of God that we need to put on to fight our spiritual battles. (Ephesians 6:14-17)

All you need to put on this helmet of salvation is to say with your mouth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead when He died for our sins and you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

The next step is the mental one of removing all negative thoughts of impatience from your mind so that you can Be renewed in the spirit of your mind. (Ephesians 4:23) To do this, set specific meditation session during the day when you can meditate on the following spiritual warfare scriptures:
1. They shall not be ashamed who wait for Me. (Isaiah 49:23)

2. Wait on the Lord and be of good courage and He shall strengthen your heart. Wait, I say, on the Lord. (Psalm 27:14)

3. Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)

4. The vision is for an appointed time and it will not lie. Though it tarries, I will wait for it because it will surely come. (Adapted Habakkuk 2:3)
