Regardless of whether your sleeplessness is caused by physical conditions like asthma or by mental conditions like anxiety or by spiritual conditions like night terrors from demonic oppression, you have to combine spiritual, physical, mental and medical interventions to form your own holistic deliverance ministry to fight for your sleep and deliver yourself from insomnia.
The first spiritual step
is to pray. As you pray, use Scriptures since awesome Bible verses are the
foundation of any deliverance ministry and Christian spiritual warfare because
the Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit that God has given us to fight with.
(Ephesians 6:17)
Scriptures that you can
use as personal deliverance prayers for insomnia include:
1. Father God, I ask
you in the name of Jesus to help me to lie down and sleep and sustain me until
I wake up in the morning. (Adapted Psalm 3:5)
2. Father God, I ask you in
the name of Jesus to help me to lie down and sleep in peace because You alone, O Lord, enable me to dwell in safety. (Adapted Psalm 4:8)

In addition to praying for yourself, consult your Pastor to determine if the nightmares and night terrors causing you to lose sleep are demonic attacks. Ask him or her to pray for you and attend Deliverance services so that you can learn different spiritual warfare prayers and receive deliverance from insomnia.
After praying, put on the helmet of salvation since it is one of the weapons of our warfare being part of the armor of God that we need to put on to fight our spiritual battles. (Ephesians 6:14-17)
All you need to put on this helmet of salvation is to say with your mouth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead when He died for our sins and you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
The next spiritual step is to remove all negative thoughts about your lack of sleep from your mind so that you can Be renewed in the spirit of your mind. (Ephesians 4:23) To do this, set specific meditation session during the day and in the evenings when you can Meditate within your heart on your bed and be still. (Psalm 4:4)
Spiritual warfare scriptures that you can meditate on include:
1. Unless the Lord builds the house, they workers labor in vain. Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. It is vain for me to rise up early or to sit up late and to eat the bread of sorrows for He gives His beloved sleep. (Adapted Psalm 127:1-2)
2. I shall not be afraid of the terror by night ... because I have made the Lord God my refuge. Therefore, no evil shall befall me and no harm shall come near my dwelling place because He shall give His angles charge over me to keep me in all my ways. (Adapted Psalm 91)

Lavender essential oil is one of the aromatherapy oils used to treat insomnia. To use it, add 3 drops to a cotton ball and place it inside your pillow case so that you can inhale its soothing aroma once you enter bed.
You can also add a few drops of lavender essential oil to an aromatherapy diffuser in your bedroom and inhale its sedating aroma as you prepare for bed.
You can also mix 3 drops of lavender essential oil and 3 drops of Roman chamomile essential oil in 10 ml of sweet almond oil to make a body massage oil that you can use to massage yourself before sleeping.
