How to Fight Laziness with Bible Verses

How to Fight Laziness with Bible Verses
Laziness is a self-defeating strategy in which a person does the destructive work for the enemy while thinking that they are not doing any work. For example, if you are too lazy to work and fight poverty, the enemy wins as you continue to wallow in lack while deceiving yourself that work is wack.

Therefore, to prevent the enemy from winning effortlessly, you have to combine spiritual, mental and physical interventions to form your own holistic deliverance ministry to fight laziness and deliver yourself from destruction because He that is slothful in his work is a brother to him that is a great destroyer. (Proverbs 18:9)

The first spiritual step is to pray and ask God to help you overcome laziness. As you pray, use Scriptures since the Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17) that God has given us to fight with. We will therefore call the Scriptures that we will use to SWORD WORDS.

SWORD WORDS that you can use as personal deliverance prayers to overcome laziness include:
1. Father God, help me not to love sleep so much so that I do not come into poverty. Help me to open my eyes early in the morning so that I can be satisfied with bread. (Adapted Proverbs 20:13)

2. Father God, help me till my land so that I will have plenty of bread to eat. (Adapted Proverbs 28:19)
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest and so shall poverty come upon you like a robber and need like an armed man. Proverbs 24:33-34

(Proverbs 18:9)

The first spiritual step is to pray and ask God to help you overcome laziness. As you pray, use Scriptures since Bible verses are the foundation of any deliverance ministry and Christian spiritual warfare because the Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit that God has given us to fight with. (Ephesians 6:17) Therefore, we will call the Scriptures that we will use to fight laziness SWORD WORDS.

SWORD WORDS that you can use as personal deliverance prayers to overcome laziness include:

2. Father God, help me till my land so that I will have plenty of bread to eat. (Adapted Proverbs 28:19)

In addition to praying for yourself, ask your Pastor to pray for you and attend Deliverance services so that you can learn different spiritual warfare prayers and receive deliverance from laziness.

After praying, put on the helmet of salvation since it is one of the weapons of our warfare being part of the armor of God that we need to put on to fight our spiritual battles. (Ephesians 6:14-17)

All you need to put on this helmet of salvation is to say with your mouth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead when He died for our sins and you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

The next step is the mental one of removing all negative lazy thoughts from your mind so that you can Be renewed in the spirit of your mind. (Ephesians 4:23) To do this, set specific meditation session during the day when you can meditate on the following spiritual warfare scriptures:
1. The soul of a lazy person desires and they have nothing. But the soul of the diligent shall be made rich. (Proverbs 13:4)

2. The hand of the diligent person will rule. (Proverbs 12:24)
