Regardless of whether you are feeling powerless because of the enormous enemies or numerous problems that you are facing, you have to combine spiritual, mental, verbal, and physical interventions to form your own holistic deliverance ministry to defeat the feelings of weakness.
Learn from Nehemiah and the Israelites when their enemy Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall, for he was furious and very angry and he mocked the Jews ... and said, "What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they fortify themselves? (Nehemiah 4:1-2) for Nehemiah prayed and said, Hear, O our God, for we are despised. (Nehemiah 4:4)
Therefore, the first spiritual intervention when you are feeling weak or powerless or you are being mocked for being ineptitude or impotent is to pray and ask God to help you. As you pray, use Scriptures since awesome Bible verses are the foundation of Christian spiritual warfare because the Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit that God has given us to fight with. (Ephesians 6:17)
Scriptures that you can use as personal deliverance prayers include:
1. O Lord my God, my soul melts from heaviness. I ask You in the name of Jesus to strengthen me according to Your word. (Adapted Psalm 119:28)
2. O Lord my God, I am afflicted very much by problems. I ask You in the name of Jesus to revive me according to Your word. (Adapted Psalm 119:107)
As you pray, believe that God will strengthen you so that you can overcome the situations that are making you feel weak since having faith in God and in His Word is how you hold up your shield of faith which is the spiritual weapon that is able to quench all the fiery darts of the enemy. (Ephesians 6:16)
Learn from Gideon’ s experience when he felt powerless after God told him that He had chosen him to lead the Israelite army against their oppressors for he said, I am from the smallest clan in Israel and I am the least important person in my father’s house. (Judges 6:15) The Lord God then replied through His angel and said, “I will be with you.”. (Judges 6:16)
