Lessons from Mary Magdalene and Jesus
Mary Magdalene is a woman who was delivered by Jesus after He cast out 7 demons from her and she can teach us the following lessons:

Lesson 1 Serve God with your Substance

After being delivered Mary Magdalene used her physical substance or wealth to serve the Lord for the Bible tells us that As Jesus went through every city and village preaching the Good News, He went with the 12 disciples and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and illnesses like Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast out 7 demons, and Joanna ... and Susanna ... who used their means to provide for Him. (Luke 8:1-3)

Therefore use whatever you have to serve God the way Mary Magdalene used her money to cater for Jesus' Ministry. To do this you can financially support an organization that is preaching the Word of God like this ministry of Christian Stress Management or any other Christian ministry that God is leading you to support.

Lesson 2 Commit to Jesus Completely

We see that Mary Magdalene was committed to Jesus even after He was crucified and buried for After the Sabbath, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Salome bought spices to embalm Him. Then, very early on Sunday morning they set out for the tomb. (Mark 16:1-2)

Thus we see that her commitment to Jesus Christ was total:
In the good times when Jesus' Ministry was doing well as He went about preaching and healing and
In the bad times when it seemed like it was all over as His body lay in the tomb.

Therefore, commit to Jesus completely and decide that you will serve Him when times are good and when times are bad.

Lesson 3 Do Not Let Anything Hold You Back

As Mary Magdalene and the other women were going to the tomb with their spices, They were wondering, 'Who will roll back the tombstone for us?' (Mark 16:3)

Mary Magdalene had actually seen the large stone being rolled to cover the mouth of the cave that Jesus had been buried in and she knew how big it was because when Joseph of Arimathea had laid the body of Jesus in his new tomb and Rolled a large stone across the door of the tomb, Mary Magdalene was there. (Matthew 27:60-61)

So to her the large stone was a fact she had seen with her own 2 eyes and not just heresay or a rumor

However, the fact that she had seen the large rock being rolled to close Jesus' tomb did not stop her from buying spices and heading out.

Therefore learn from Mary Magdalene and do not let anything hold you back if you know that you have to do something that pertains to serving the Church which is the Body of Christ regardless of the obstacles that stand between you and your goal.

This is because God already knows about the obstacles on your path and He knows about your capability to handle them. In Mary Magdalene's situation, God already knew that she could not roll back the tombstone to open the tomb.

God also knew about problems that could have prevented Mary Magdalene from accessing the body in the tomb that she probably did not know about because after Jesus had been buried in the tomb, the chief priests and Pharisees went to see Pilate and asked him to command that the tomb to be secured and he gave them permission to seal the stone and set guards outside it. (Matthew 27:62-66)

So Mary Magdalene may not have known about the additional problems of the stone being sealed and guards stationed outside it.

But God Knew.

God knew and that is why there was A great earthquake ... an Angel of God descended from heaven and rolled back the stone from the door ... And  the guards were afraid of him and became like dead men. (Matthew 28:2-4)

God thus solved the problems that Mary Magdalene knew about and those that she did not know about because when she and the other women arrived at the tomb, they were able to enter it for the Angel told them that Jesus had risen and showed them where He had been for he said, Come and see the place where the Lord lay. (Matthew 28:6)

An angel came down from heaven, rolled back the stone and sat on it. (Matthew 28:2)

An Angel came down from Heaven, rolled back the stone and sat on it. Matthew 28:2

Therefore if you know that God expects you to do something, do not be swayed by the problems you know about the project. Just step out while believing that God will meet you at your point of need the way He met Mary Magdalene for We walk by faith and not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)

We walk by faith and not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)

This is especially true in this 2020 Easter Season when we are dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic that has caused a lot of health, financial and social problems.

So, regardless of the physical, financial and social problems you may be experiencing due to Covid19 or any other reason, continue doing what God has called you to do while believing that He is able to meet you at your point of need and help you because With God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)
