Position Yourself: King Jehoshaphat

Position Yourself: King Jehoshaphat

King Jehoshaphat Positioned His Army
When King Jehoshaphat and the Israelites were attacked by several armies and they did not know what they could do to defend themselves, they consulted God and He told them to do the following 5 things.

These 5 instructions are still relevant today and you can also do these same things if you are in a stressful situation after praying for His guidance:
1. Do not be afraid. (2 Chronicles 20:15)

2. Do not be dismayed because of these armies because the battle is not yours, it is God's. (2 Chronicles 20:15)
Therefore do not be disheartened or unnerved because of the size, number or ferocity of the enemies and problems attacking you.

3. Go and face them. (2 Chronicles 20:16)
Do not run away from your problems.

4. Position yourselves. (2 Chronicles 20:17)
Put yourself in the place where you are best able to solve your stressful problem.

For example if you need money to pay your bills, strategically position your services and products in an online or offline marketplace which is your battlefield for fighting poverty.

5. Stand still and see the salvation of God who is with you. (2 Chronicles 20:17)
After you have done all that you can do physically to solve your problem (e.g. positioning your products in the market place), and you have done all that you can do spiritually to solve your problem (e.g. praying, putting on the armor of God) STAND STILL (Ephesians 6:13) IN YOUR STRATEGIC POSITION.

Resist the temptation to flee from your strategic position because of the deadly problems surrounding you. STAND STILL and wait for God to save you and do for you what you cannot do for yourself.

STAND STILL in your strategic position in submission to God Who is with you.
STAND STILL in your strategic position in resistance to the devil who is attacking you and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)
