Jesus, Mary and Joseph also lived through a season of running when the Angel appeared to Joseph in a dream and told him to take Jesus and Mary to Egypt.
The young family then left by night for Egypt where they lived until Herod died. (Matthew 2:13-15)
Their fleeing to Egypt was to protect Child Jesus from King Herod who issued a decree that all children aged 2 years old and below should be killed after the Three Wise Men failed to return to his palace to tell him the location of Child Jesus. (Matthew 2:12)
Jesus, Mary and Joseph also fled to Egypt so that the Scripture from Hosea 11:1 which says, "Out of Egypt I have called My Son" might be fulfilled. (Matthew 2:15)
Therefore if you are living through a season of running through no fault of your own, bear it patiently as you pray and ask God for understanding.
Understand also that running during your "A time to run" season does not make you a coward since you may be fulfilling God's plans for your life even if you are not aware of those plans.
