There are several people in the Bible who can teach us how NOT to use our tongue. One of those persons was Miriam.
Miriam and Aaron criticized Moses because he had married an Ethiopian woman. They said, "Has the Lord only spoken through Moses? Has He not also spoken through us? And God heard their words ... and He asked them, 'Why were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses?'". God was very angry with them and Miriam suddenly developed leprosy. (Numbers 12:1-10)
The lesson here is that you should not use your tongue to speak to other people against persons in spiritual authority.
If they have done something that you consider wrong, talk to God about it because He is the one who has given them the spiritual authority and He knows how best to deal with the situation. If you do not know how to deal with situation, ask God to guide you.
If the persons in spiritual authority have done something wrong to you and you are hurting, do not use you tongue badly. Believe that God will avenge you since He says, Vengeance is mine, I will repay (Romans 12:9).
