Setting a goal to read the Bible is very important because we are told to Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. (James 4:8)
One way of drawing near to God is reading His Word since it teaches us how He wants us to live the life He has given us.
After deciding to create the time to read your Bible, follow these steps to make a set a Bible reading goal:
1. Make your Bible reading goal specific by deciding how often you will read it.
For example you can say, “I will read the Bible every day”.
2. Make our Bible reading goal measurable by using units you can assess like chapters and verses.
For example you can say, “I will read 1 chapter of the Bible every day”.
3. Make your Bible reading goal attainable by deciding when you will read your Bible.
For example you can say, “I will read 1 chapter of the Bible each morning”.
4. Make your Bible reading goal realistic by deciding how you will create the time to read your Bible.
For example you can say, “I will wake up 30 minutes earlier than my usual wake-up time of 5.00 am so that I can read 1 chapter of the Bible each morning”.
Therefore your final Bible reading goal can be: “I will read 1 chapter of the Bible every day in the morning from 4.30 am”.
As you read your Bible be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and do not let your goal rush you since it some situations God may want to minister to you from just once verse and keep you fixed on it until He reveals every thing He wants you to know.
In addition, keep a pen and paper nearby as you read your Bible so that you can write down any insights you receive.
Schedule some time to also pray during your Bible reading session.
I also suggest that you read Christian Goal Setting.

Is It Bad to Fight Your Family?
My answer for the question, "Is it bad to fight your family?"is "Yes, it is bad to fight your family because Jesus tells us that A divided house cannot stand." (Mark 3:25)
This means that if members of the same family or house are fighting each other that family or house will break down. That infighting in that family can make it fall socially, emotionally, physically and financially for example due to divorce.
If disagreements arise between members of the same family or house, it is best to resolve the conflicts as soon as they develop.

This means that at the end of the meeting each party should leave having felt that they were heard and they received something even if it is a promise that the other party will not do what upsets them.
