We
can see an example of the enemy’ destruction from the Bible when numerous
enemies would flock to Israel after
the Israelites had sown their seeds and destroy all that they could to ensure
that the Israelites did not have any sustenance, sheep, ox or even donkeys
left. As a result of the destruction, the Israelites were greatly impoverished.
(Judges 6:1-6)
Therefore understand
that the enemy destroys your assets so that he can impoverish you. These assets
can include your health, reputation, business, career, ministry or any other
aspect of your life.
When you find yourself
under an attack that has been sent to impoverish you, pray and fast to fight
back and then get back in right standing with God by following His commandments
so that He can stand up for you and fight for you.
As you do this, hold
onto your faith and believe that even if you have been weeping through a very
long winter night, your joy will eventually spring up one morning.
