Isaac was living in the valley of Gerar and his servants dug a well and found fresh water.
But the herdsmen of Gerar quarreled with his servants saying, "The water is ours" and so he named the well Esek which means Quarrel or Dispute.
Isaac and his servants dug a second well and the Gerar herdsmen still quarreled over it and so he named it Sitnah which means Enmity or Opposition.
However, Isaac did not give up. He moved on from there and dug another well. Since there were no quarrels, he named it Reheboth which means Spaciousness or Room for he said, the Lord has made room for us and we shall flourish. (Genesis 26:19-22)
Therefore learn from Isaac and DO NOT GIVE UP when you encounter problems as you try to prosper.
Understand also that things may go from bad to worse before they get better the way his water situation moved from Quarrels to Enmity before he found Space to prosper.
In addition, if you have been languishing in places filled with Disputes and Opposition, ask God to create Room for you somewhere where you can flourish in peace.
