Forgive Yourself
If your heart condemns you, God is greater than your heart and He knows all things. (Adapted 1 John 3:20)
There is therefore now no condemnation for me because I am in Christ Jesus. (Adapted Romans 8:11)
One thing I do is forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those which are ahead, I press toward the goal. (Philippians 3:13-14)
Therefore if you find yourself condemning yourself because of the bad things that you did when you were engaging in the addictive behavior remind yourself of these Bible verse.
Remind yourself of these Bible verses when other people try to make you feel condemned because of what you did when you were engaging in the addictive behavior.
