Persistence is another device that the devil uses to destroy God’s people.
We can see that the enemy is persistent because Samson was destroyed after Delilah Pestered him daily with her words and pressed him, so that his soul was vexed to death, so that he told her ... If I am shaven, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man.” (Judges 16:16-17)
She then acted quickly and reduced the strongest man in the land to a blind grinder in the prison.
Therefore do not let the devil wear you down. Find ways to take physical breaks from his attacks by leaving the place of attack.
If you cannot do so like Samson who lived with Delilah, take mental breaks to refresh yourself by reading God’s word and listening to praise and worship music.
