Sometimes it seems that life dumps you like the piece of clay in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1D8qbwghWw
and proceeds to spin out of your control.
Situations that are beyond your control then begin pinching, punching and pulling you from all directions.
If you entered such a situation while you were still serving God faithfully and through no fault of your own, do not begin quarreling with God by asking Him "What are you doing with my life?" for the Bible tells us,
Woe to the person who strives with his Maker!
Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth!
Shall the clay say to him who forms it, "What are you making?"
Or shall the work say, "He has no hands"? (Isaiah 45:9)
Instead of fighting with God when life is fighting you, trust God with your life and believe that He knows what He is doing. Pray for patience so that you can relax in His arms as He finishes molding you into the vessel He wants you to become.
Emulate Joseph whose life spun out of his control when his brothers sold him into slavery and then he was falsely accused of rape and imprisoned because he went through that period in his life while still clinging to God.
We know this because when Potiphar's wife tempted him to commit adultery, Joseph replied by asking, "How can I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?" (Genesis 39:9)
Therefore continue trusting God even when your life spins out of your control by believing
that it is still in God's control the way He maintained control of
Joseph’s life. We know that He was still in control because this season of suffering was preparing Joseph to save his family from hunger by becoming the Prime Minister of Egypt for the Bible tells us that God sent a man before them, Joseph who was sold into
slavery, his feet hurt with fetters and he was laid in irons until the time
that his word came to pass, the word of God tested him. Pharaoh set him free
and made him lord of his house and ruler of his possessions. (Psalm 105:17-21)
