Answer
Thank you for contacting us and I suggest the following:Take our free Bible-based addiction recovery program which will walk through the steps you can take to be totally free of the addiction.
Read How to Strengthen your Faith to get some ideas on how to do it. If you need more help in this area, please let me know through the Contact Form and I will send you my ebook How to Increase your Faith for free if you sincerely cannot afford it.
In addition to the points discussed in the above blog post I also suggest that you do the following:
Schedule prayer and Bible reading
Set apart a special time each day to pray and read your Bible. Talking to God about your problems is very important as it provides catharsis and solutions.
Decide to believe the Bible
Make a conscious decision to believe the Bible even what is written is not true for your life right now because Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1) Emulate Abraham who believed God when God told him he would have many descendants even though at that time he was an old man married to an old woman.
Read our blog post on How to Rebuild your Life, choose one facet of your life to rebuild and focus on it until you have rebuilt it.
Emulate the woman with the 12 year bleeding disorder because she had many problems - the bleeding disease, the financial problem since she spent all her money looking for a cure and the social problem because of her persistent bleeding. However, when she came to Jesus she focused on one problem for she said, "If only I touch His garments, I shall be made well." (Mark 5:28)
Therefore I suggest working to rebuild your faith in Jesus as you following the steps of the Christian addiction program and then you can begin working on getting your children back after you have healed.
In addition as you pray for God to strengthen your faith and to help you overcome the addiction completely, include your children in your prayers even if you are not with them physically.
