Blessings and Curses From Our Actions
I have set before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing if you obey the commandments of God and the curse if you do not obey the commandments. (Deuteronomy 11:26-28)The Deuteronomy 28 Blessings are some of the blessings that God wants you to
choose by obeying His commandments or
lose by disobeying His commandments
Once you have chosen the blessings, try and ensure that you are in complete alignment so that you are not choosing blessings in one minute by living right and choosing curses in the next by disobeying God.
Blessings and Curses From Our Mouths
With the tongue we bless our God and Father and with it we curse men who have been made in the image of God.
Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. This should not be so.
Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter water from the same opening? (James 3:9-12)
No, a spring does not produce fresh water and bitter water from the same opening. If the opening was producing sweet water and it begins producing bitter water, the sweet water becomes contaminated as its sweetness is overshadowed by the bitterness.
Therefore decide whether the spring in your mouth will produce the fresh water of blessings or it will produce the bitter water of curses.
If you want the spring in your mouth to produce the fresh water of blessings, read How to Fight a Foul Mouth with Bible Verse and how to guard your heart because the issues of your life flow from it.
