How to stop feeling shy

Instead of feeding your shyness by saying, “I am a shy person”, slay it by confessing “I can do all things including overcoming shyness through Jesus Christ Who strengthens me.”

If you find yourself feeling shy because you are in the company of strangers, quietly say to yourself, “I am sociable with strangers because I can do all things including overcoming shyness through Jesus Christ Who strengthens me.”

If you find yourself feeling shy because you are in a new place, quietly say to yourself, “I am comfortable in new places because I can do all things including overcoming shyness through Jesus Christ Who strengthens me.”

If you find yourself feeling shy because you are learning something new, quietly say to yourself, “I am an outgoing quick learner because I can do all things including overcoming shyness through Jesus Christ Who strengthens me.”

If the phrase “I am a shy person” slips out of your mouth involuntarily, quickly correct yourself and replace it with “I am a fly person” which means that you are an awesome and cool person and then, follow it with your Bible verse affirmation.

Therefore tailor your affirmation to the situations which make you feel shy and modify it by using other Bible verses.

After you have tweaked your affirmation to perfection, ensure that you repeat it religiously every morning and evening for God told the Israelites, Let the weak say ‘I am strong’. (Joel 3:10)

So even if you are still feeling shy, continue saying your affirmation because Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)
