The armor of God prayer is taken from Ephesians 6:14-17 which describes the weapons of our warfare.
The Armor of God Prayer
Heavenly Father I ask you in the name of Jesus to help me as I put on the armor of God today.
Father God I put on the helmet of salvation by saying with my mouth that "Jesus is Lord" and believing in my heart that when He died for my sins, You raised Him from the dead. Father God help me to live like someone who acknowledges Your Son Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Father God I put on the breastplate of righteousness by deciding to do the right thing in your sight all the time. Forgive me Father for the times I have done the wrong thing and help me be righteous from today henceforth.
Father God I put on the belt of truth by deciding to speak the truth today and behave truthfully in all my dealings. Forgive me Father for the times I have lied and help me be totally truthful from today henceforth.
Father God I put on the shoes of the preparation of the Gospel of peace by reading the Bible. Speak to me as I read Your word so that I can know what I need to face what lies ahead of me. Father forgive me for the times I have deceived myself by not doing what Your Word says.
Father God I take the shield of faith by deciding to believe You and Your Word in the Bible. Father God help me remember the Scriptures I need to meditate on to put out all the darts the enemy may shoot in my direction. Help me to also remain strong instead of wavering because of doubting You or Your Word.
Father God I take the sword of the spirit which is Your Word by speaking Bible verses over my life and situation.
In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
After praying this armor of God prayer, spend some time doing the following:
1. Reading your Bible
Read your Bible so that you can actually put on the shoes of the preparation of the Gospel of peace. 
2. Confessing Bible Verses
Speak out some Bible verses that are relevant to your current situation.
