The following is a list of May 2020 Holidays together also includes activities that you can engage on each of the May Holidays.
May 2 Baby Day Activities
May 2 is Baby Day.
It is therefore a great day to fight for
your children using Bible verses and save them from destruction.
How To Fight for Your Children with Bible Verses 3rd Edition Book Excerpt
Regardless of whether
your children’s well being is threatened by diseases or deviant lifestyles or
bullies or gangs or addictions, you have to combine spiritual, physical and
mental interventions to form your own holistic deliverance ministry to fight
for your children and deliver them from destruction.
Praying
The first spiritual
intervention is to pray for your children yourself.
We can see
that the Woman from Canaan approached Jesus because of her daughter because
it is written that A woman from
Canaan cried out to Jesus saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David
because my daughter is severely demon possessed.” (Matthew 15:21-22)
She therefore teaches us that we should pray and intercede
for our children especially if they cannot or will not
pray for themselves. This inability to pray can be due to the fact that they
are possessed by demons or they have walked away from the Church or they are
trapped by addictions or they have mental illnesses or they are unconscious in
an ICU or any other reason.
Therefore as a parent heed the Bible for it tells us that we
should Boldly approach the throne of
grace so that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
(Hebrews 4:16)
Learn also from Job
because he offered sacrifices to God on behalf of his children for His seven sons would hold feasts and invite
their three sisters. After their days of feasting were over, Job would rise up
early in the morning and offer burnt offerings. For he said, “It may be that my
children sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” Job did this continually. (Job
1:4-5)
Therefore, regardless of
the age of your children or the challenges they are facing, ensure that you
first seek God’s advice and assistance by praying for them.
As you pray, use
Scriptures since The sword of the spirit is the word of God (Ephesians 6:17) that God has given us to fight with. We
will therefore call the Bible verses that we will use to battle SWORD
WORDS.
SWORD
WORDS that you can use to
pray for your children include:
Father God I ask You in the name of Jesus to
help my children grow and become strong in the spirit and filled with wisdom
and may Your grace O God be upon them. (Reference Luke 2:40)
Father God I ask You in the name of Jesus to help my children increase
in wisdom and in stature and in favor with You O God and with people. (Reference Luke 2:52)
Father God I ask You in the name of Jesus to give me increase more and more, me and my children.
(Reference Psalm
115:14)
As you pray, learn from the
Woman from Canaan because when she first called on Jesus, Jesus did not answer her. (Matthew 15:23) However, she did not quit and go back
home. She continued to hang around and stay in His presence.
Later when Jesus spoke to her, He said, “I was only sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” (Matthew
15:24) However this statement which disqualified her from receiving healing for
her daughter because she was not an Israelite did not also discourage her
because she Came and worshiped Him. (Matthew
15:24)
Later, Jesus also said to her, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little
dogs.” (Matthew 15:26) However, she was not discouraged because of being
equated to a little dog for she responded and said, “Yes, Lord even the little dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their
master’s table. (Matthew 15:27)
Therefore emulate this Woman from Canaan by not giving up on
your prayers or on God if at first you do not get the answer you are asking
for. Decide to persist in prayer as you Pray
without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

May 10 Mother's Day Activities
May 10 is Mother’s
Day.
It is therefore a great day to read the Bible Mother’s Day Devotional which is excerpted below.
Hannah
I prayed for this child and the Lord granted me the request which I asked of Him.
1 Samuel 1:27
1 Samuel 1:27
Bible Lesson
Hannah was very stressed because her co-wife Peninnah who
had sons and daughters used to Provoke
her severely to make her miserable because she did not have children. (1 Samuel 1:6)
She was so distressed that she wept and did
not eat. Even when she was praying in the Temple, Eli the Priest thought she
was drunk because She was in bitterness
of soul … and wept in anguish. (1 Samuel 1:10)
Hannah then struck a deal with God and
promised that if He gave her a son, she would give him back to Him. God gave
her a baby boy and she took him to the Temple to serve God for his entire life.
Hannah therefore teaches us that if we have
a very distressing problem, we can promise God something if He solves our
problem for us.
Hannah also teaches us that once God solves
our problem, we have to keep the end of our bargain like she did when she took
Samuel to the Temple.
Therefore consider promising God something
if you have a big problem but as you do so Do not be rash with your mouth and do not let your mouth
utter anything hastily before God because God is in heaven and you are on
earth. Therefore let your words be few. (Ecclesiastes 5:2)
Prayer
Heavenly Father I ask You in the name of Jesus to grant me (state what you want God to do for you)
and I will (state what you will do for God).
Bible Meditation
Do not be rash
with your mouth and do not let your mouth utter anything hastily before God for
God is in heaven and you are on earth. Therefore let your words be few. (Ecclesiastes 5:2)
Rebecca
Mother's Day Bible Verse
If all is well with me, why am I like this?
Genesis 25:21
Genesis 25:21
Bible Lesson
Rebecca teaches us that we have to consult God when
something is not right with our children.
Therefore, if you notice something weird about your
children, regardless of whether they are your unborn children or your adult
children, inquire of the Lord to find out what they are like that.
Inquiring of God is very important because He can give you
the spiritual insight into your problem which will
help you cope better with the physical effects of the problem and help you seek
the best solution for the problem which can include consulting the best
counselor or doctor.
Note that consulting a doctor or any human specialist is
also important but this should complement consulting God because human
specialists can prescribe treatment that will treat the problem but God can direct
you to the right human specialists or He can cure the entire problem from its root.
Prayer
Heavenly Father I ask You in the name of Jesus to help me remember
that I should consult you first whenever I notice a problem with my children.
The Shunammite Woman
Mother's Day Bible Verse
It is well.
2 Kings 4:23
2 Kings 4:23
Mother's Day Bible Lesson
The Shunammite woman who was the mother of a young boy teaches us not to speak negative words over negative situations if we want to change them. This is because after her son died, her husband inquired why she was going to see Elisha and she said, "It is well." (2 Kings 4:23)
When Elisha saw her approaching, he sent his servant to inquire about her and she replied, "It is well." (2 Kings 4:26)
When she finally met with Elisha, she told him she wouldn’t leave him and he followed her home and brought her son back to life.
Therefore if something negative happens to you or your children, do not speak negative words if you do not want the negative situation to become entrenched because Death and life are in the power of the tongue. (Proverbs 18:21)
If you must speak about the situation make a positive confession like "It is well" (2 Kings 4:23) because you are believing God will make it well because Faith is the substance of things hoped for. (Hebrews 11:1)
This mother therefore teaches us that we should not speak negative words about negative situations that we do not want to be entrenched in our lives. She shows us that we should continue making positive confessions about our situation until we get to the presence of God or meet with His servant.
So continue having faith by believing that what you are hoping for is what will happen since Faith is the substance of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1) and speak out this faith whenever you are asked about the situation that you are believing God to help you with.
One way of doing this is by confessing that "It is well" (2 Kings 4:26) even though your situation is not yet well because you are believing that God will make it well.
Prayer
Heavenly Father I ask You in the name of Jesus to help me to
chose my words carefully because my words have power.

you overcome the attack by saying a prayer like - "Heavenly Father
I ask You in the name of Jesus to help me overcome this energy draining
fatiguing attack".
2. Meditate on
energizing Bible verses like God gives power to the weak and to those who

May 12 Fatigue Syndrome Day is also a great day to engage in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome activities like the following:
1. Using aromatherapy essential oils to treat the symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome
Aromatherapy recipe for physical fatigue treatment
Eucalyptus essential oil 10 drops
Lemon essential oil 10 drops
Rosemary essential oil 15 drops
Mix these essential oils in a small dark bottle.
Add 12 drops of this essential oil mixture to a cup (250ml or 8oz) of sweet almond oil to create a body massage oil.
Apply this mixture on your body to relieve physical exhaustion.
2. Using cognitive restructuring
Cognitive restructuring is changing the wrong thoughts (cognitive distortions) that contribute to feeling fatigued. These wrong thoughts can include shoulds and should nots.
This wrong thinking pattern or using shoulds and should nots on themselves causes a person to hold themselves to a set of strict rules of what they must and must not do. Failure to keep those strict rules results in feeling guilty and frustrated.
For example, they can think, "I should walk for 30 minutes every day."
If they don't they will feel bad or even guilty and frustrated.
To get out of this rut, the person can challenge themselves by asking: Am I holding myself to a set of strict rules of what I must and must not do?
If they are they can change their shoulds into positive rational thoughts like "I could walk every day."

May 20 Be A Millionaire Day Activities
May 20 is Be A
Millionaire Day.
It is therefore a great day to read Becoming a Millionaire God’s Way, Getting Money
to You, Not from You by Dr. C. Thomas Anderson.
This book by @drtompics taught me to think
differently about wealth and the wealth creating process. It reminded me that I
have to take action and do something here on earth that God can bless from
heaven. Becoming a Millionaire also reminded me that I have to work smart for
my money and be smart by making my money work for me.
This Christian money management
book also helped me understand the process of multiplication and taught me not
to be afraid of starting small.
It reiterated the importance of developing self-control and the tenacity of a

because it will make the wineskin burst which will spill the wine and ruin the
wineskin. Instead, new wine is put into new wineskins and both are preserved. (Luke
5:37-38)
Therefore stop waiting for old wine skins who are people that are used to doing things the traditional way to support your new wine or the new thing that God has put in your heart to do in a 21st century way.
