Strengthen Your Faith Devotional Day 10

Strengthen Your Faith Devotional Day 10

Bible Reading

The Lord said to Moses, “Get a rod from each of the leaders of the houses – 12 rods - and write each man’s name of his rod. Write Aaron’s name of the rod of Levi … You shall place them in the tabernacle of the meeting before the Testimony … The rod of the man I choose will blossom and thus I will rid Myself of the complaints the Israelites make against you.”
So Moses spoke to the Israelites and each of their leaders gave him a rod … and Moses placed the rods before the Lord in the tabernacle of witness.

The next day when Moses went into the tabernacle of witness, the rod of Aaron of the house of Levi had sprouted and put forth buds and produced blossoms and yielded ripe almonds. Then Moses brought out all the rods from before the Lord to the Israelites and they looked. (Numbers 17:1-9)

When God wanted to get rid of the complaints that the Israelites made against Moses and Aaron, He told Moses to get a rod from the leaders of all the Israelite tribes and write each leader’s name on his rod. Moses was to place those rods in the tabernacle and the rod of the person that God chose would blossom.
Moses did as instructed and the next day he found that Aaron’s rod had sprouted and produced buds, blossoms and ripe almonds. Moses then brought out the all rods and showed them to all the Israelites.
Therefore believe that God can perform wonders to silence your critics and competitors because With God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)

In addition, know that God is not a respector of persons (Acts 10:34) which means that what He did for Aaron and Moses, He can also do for you if you believe. Therefore believe that He can silence your critics and if your faith is wavering read How to Increase your Faith.

However, ensure that you doing what God called you to do the way Moses and Aaron were.
