Bible Reading
Nehemiah and the
Israelites faced a lot of problems when they were rebuilding the walls of
Jerusalem. This is because their enemies Laughed and ridiculed them. (Nehemiah 2:19) Their enemies
mocked them by asking, "What are these weak Jews doing? … Will they
make building stones from the burnt rubble?" (Nehemiah 4:1-2)
Their enemies also made false accusations by saying that they were rebuilding
the walls so that they could rebel against the King. They even tried to make
them afraid by threatening to report these allegations to the king. (Nehemiah 6)
In spite of this, Nehemiah and the
Israelites finished rebuilding the wall in 52 days. When
all our enemies around us heard about it and all the nations around us saw it,
they were very disheartened because they perceived that this work was done by
our God. (Nehemiah 6:15-16)
Therefore commit
to completing the job that God has called you to do and then believe that He
can enable you to complete it even if you are facing numerous problems as you work
because With God all things are
possible. (Matthew 19:26)
In addition know that God is not a respector of persons (Acts 10:34) which means that what He did for Nehemiah, He can also do for you if you believe. Therefore believe that He can help you and if your faith is wavering read How to Increase your Faith.
Prayer
Heavenly Father I ask You in the name of Jesus to help me remember that With God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26) including You helping me complete the work you have called me to do even in the midst of problems. Father God help me believe without wavering that You will help me finish it since All things are possible for the person who believes. (Mark 9:23)
