Bible Reading
There were 4 leprous men at the gate of Samaria and they said to
one another, “Why sit here until we die?” If we say, “We will enter the city of
Samaria, there is famine in the city and we shall die there. If we sit here we
shall also die. Now let us go to the Syrian camp and if they save us, we shall
live and if they kill us we shall only die.”
They rose up to go to the Syrian camp and when they arrived, there
was no one there. For the Lord had made the Syrian army to hear the noise of
chariots and of horses and of a great army and they said to one another, “The
King of Israel has hired the Kings of the Hittites and the Kings of the
Egyptians to attack us.” Therefore they arose and fled for their lives and left
the camp intact.
When the lepers came to the camp, they went into one tent and ate
and drank and carried silver and gold and clothing. (2 Kings 7:3-8)
These 4 men were
suffering from leprosy which was an
incurable disease that caused their fingers and toes to fall off and
made them social outcasts. However God used them to chase an entire army.
Therefore believe
that He can also help you overcome great challenges even if you have severe physical,
mental, social and other limitations because With
God all things are possible. (Matthew
19:26)
In addition know that God is not a respector of persons (Acts 10:34) which means that what He did for the 4 lepers He can also do for you. Therefore believe that He can help you and if your faith is wavering read How to Increase your Faith.
Prayer
Heavenly Father I ask You in the name of Jesus to help me remember that With God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26) including overcoming great challenges even if I have great limitations. Father God help me believe without wavering that You will help me since All things are possible for the person who believes. (Mark 9:23)
